Swatch Introduces the MoonSwatch Mission to EarthPhase: A Unique Blend of Earth and Lunar Inspiration

Swatch has expanded its MoonSwatch lineup with a new model, the Mission to EarthPhase, set for release on November 2nd. The collection, known for its playful yet innovative approach to horology, now offers a fresh addition with an “Earth Phase Indicator,” a function that adds to the moonphase feature. This model, part of Swatch’s collaboration with Omega, captures both the moon and earth’s changing phases from a unique, space-inspired perspective.

Design and Features of the MoonSwatch Mission to EarthPhase

The Mission to EarthPhase design is distinct, combining elements from previous models like the Mission to Mercury and Mission to Moon with added functionality. The watch features a grey dial and grey BioCeramic case, accented by a black tachymeter bezel and black track around the dial. Notably, the model includes a moonphase indicator, highlighting the moon’s phases without the Snoopy emblem featured in past editions, giving this version a clean and sophisticated look.

A standout feature of this release is the “Earth Phase” indicator. This feature displays the view of Earth from the moon’s perspective, rotating in a reverse direction to represent the 29.5-day lunar cycle. The luminous Earth phase includes three distinct views, showing different continents under the UV light to depict the shifting sunlight.
