The Rolex Submariner 16610 was the last of the stainless steel models to sport an older-style aluminum bezel. It features a 40mm stainless steel case with 300 meters of water resistance, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional bezel outfitted with an aluminum insert, and a black dial decorated with Super-LumiNova. The case promises water resistance up to 300 meters and wears on Rolex’s classic three-link Oyster bracelet. While many collectors will never take their watch that far below the ocean’s surface, its durability is excellent for everyday wear and for preserving the watch’s longevity.
