The Rolex Daytona was created to master the speed of timekeeping by featuring a chronograph, a 30-minute counter and stop seconds for precise time setting. It has a 40 mm stainless-steel case that has a screw-down case back, a scratch resistant sapphire with a winding crown. It has a black ceramic bezel with an engraved tachymetric scale. Enclosed in the case is the 4130 Caliber, that has bidirectional self-winding via Perpetual rotor, a-2/+2 sec/day precision and a 72-hour power reserve. The caliber has chronograph and small second functionality. The dial is black with highly legible hour markers and three black sub-dials with stainless-steel borders. It comes with an Oystersteel president bracelet that has a folding Oysterlock safety clasp. It has a water resistance of 100 meters (330 feet).
