This new release follows the 2023 launch of a Clive Cussler-inspired 300T, maintaining the vintage aesthetic with Cussler-themed elements. The edition is strictly limited to 93 pieces, aligning with his age.

The Sub 300T Sharkhunter Clive Cussler Limited Edition features a 42.5mm steel case, 14mm thick, and 44.5mm lug-to-lug, designed to look aged, evoking the feel of a historical artifact. This effect is achieved using a PVD-based process followed by stone-washing to give it a unique, weathered look.

Inside, it is powered by an ETA 2824 movement. The watch comes with both a black rubber strap and an aged steel bracelet, priced at $3,250, and is available directly from Doxa’s website, appealing to collectors and fans alike.

Tribute to Clive Cussler

Clive Cussler, a renowned adventure writer who passed away in 2020, was deeply involved with the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA). His fictional hero, Dirk Pitt, often sported an orange-dialed Doxa, solidifying the brand’s connection with Cussler’s adventurous tales.

The Sharkhunter variant highlights a black dial with a central compass rose and “Clive Cussler” in red, replacing the usual model nameplate. The special caseback is engraved with the names of over 70 shipwrecks discovered by NUMA. Proceeds from this edition will support NUMA’s ongoing projects, continuing Cussler’s legacy.
