TAG Heuer and Kith have joined forces to resurrect a beloved timepiece from the ’90s – the TAG Heuer Formula 1. This limited edition collection pays homage to the iconic watch of yesteryears with a contemporary twist.

Renowned watch enthusiast and Kith founder, Ronnie Fieg, played a pivotal role in bringing this project to life. Inspired by his personal connection to the TAG Heuer Formula 1, Fieg aimed to recreate the nostalgic essence of the original timepiece.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith collection comprises 10 distinct models, each echoing the vibrant aesthetic of the ’90s era. These watches, available in various colour and material combinations, resonate with enthusiasts seeking a nostalgic touch.

Fieg’s vision for the collaboration centred on authenticity and cultural significance. While not exact replicas, the watches draw inspiration from cities hosting Kith stores, reflecting a fusion of heritage and contemporary design.

Despite their vintage-inspired appearance, these timepieces boast modern enhancements. Featuring durable materials like arnite and sapphire glass, alongside a robust rubber strap, each watch embodies a blend of retro charm and contemporary functionality.

A notable alteration to the iconic TAG Heuer logo, now reading “Kith Heuer,” underscores the collaboration’s innovative spirit. This subtle yet significant change symbolises the fusion of two iconic brands.

Limited in availability, each model offers a unique narrative, from Tokyo’s homage to Japanese F1 driver Ukyo Katayama to Miami’s creamy white rendition. With a limited production run, ranging from 250 to 1,350 pieces per model, these watches encapsulate exclusivity and craftsmanship.

Scheduled for a global launch on May 6, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith collection heralds a new chapter for TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 line. With its blend of nostalgia and innovation, this collaboration sets a precedent for future watchmaking endeavours.
