Introducing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon “Tamara Ralph”

Audemars Piguet recently unveiled the new Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon limited edition, a collaborative creation with renowned Haute Couture designer Tamara Ralph.

Celebrating the fusion of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Couture, this edition presents a distinctly feminine aesthetic. Crafted with an 18-carat pink gold case embellished with frosted gold, the surface features intricate indentations achieved with a diamond-tipped tool, evoking the allure of precious stones. The case measures 38.5 mm x 11.9 mm and offers water resistance up to 20 meters / 66 feet.

Inspired by the textured details prominent in Tamara Ralph’s Couture designs, the multi-layered dial boasts hues of brown, bronze, and gold, accentuated by a continuous sunburst satin texture. The dial showcases a diamond-set flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, seamlessly blending technical precision with refined elegance.

To enhance readability, the pink gold hands are treated with a luminescent coating. The caseback, secured by a pink gold octagonal frame, features glareproofed sapphire crystal, offering a glimpse into the hand-wound movement operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and providing a power reserve of 72 hours.

Completing the ensemble is a bronze-toned pearly alligator strap complemented by an 18-carat pink gold AP folding clasp, accompanied by an additional chocolate pearly alligator strap.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon “Tamara Ralph”, identified by the reference number 26630OR.GG.D626CR.01, is a limited edition comprising 100 pieces.
