The Panerai Radiomir GMT Power Reserve Watch PAM00628 takes inspiration from its ancestor, 1940 model which was designed with a perfected case for Italian Navy commandos. Driven by the automatic movement of Panerai Calibre P.4002, the watch is an anti-shock device that does not easily falter. Made with 288 components, it features a polished steel case with a matching bezel on the top. Within the case is its black dial with Paris Hobnails surface. Integrated inside it are luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. In addition to this, there is a date window at three o’clock, a seconds indicator at nine o’clock, and a power reserve indicator between four and five o’clock.
